Over the last sixty years the District’s charter has been updated a number of times.  A revision of the entire charter was completed in 1982.  In 1986 and 1988 several amendments were approved to update the 1982 Charter.  The 1988 Charter listed below includes those two amendments.

The 2003 amendment listed below should be read in conjunction with the 1988 Charter as it revises the following section of the 1988 Charter.

Part 1 General Provisions, section 2 Brunswick Sewer District created.

Part 3 Power, section 24 Sewer extensions policy, subsection 5 Consultant.

Part 2  Organization, Section 11 Territorial limits; expansion; voters, subsection 1 Territorial limits; subsection 2 Expanded growth area territorial limits; subsection 3 expanded health, safety and welfare territorial limits; subsection 4 voters.

Part 6 Amendments; Effective Date, section 52 Effective Date.
