Wastewater Pump Station Alarms

Dear Neighbor:

The Brunswick Sewer District is requesting your help in notifying us should you encounter an alarm horn and or flashing light at a District wastewater pump station in your neighborhood. These ‘local alarms’ are a back-up to the radio signal, and are attached to the outside of the structures.

Please call pager number 580-3175. Our pump stations are identified with a blue and white sign noting the station name (i.e. Church Road Pump Station), several emergency telephone numbers, and owner identification (Brunswick Sewer District). 

If you encounter an activated local alarm, please do not assume that someone has already called us.  Many times we find that an alarm has been on for one or two hours before we are notified.  We would much prefer to receive multiple calls rather than no calls because you may think someone else has called.  With your cooperation and early involvement, we can lessen or even avoid an overflow or emergency situation.  Please call 580-3175.
